The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau will host two cybersecurity workshops for broadcasters and telecommunications carriers. The workshops will feature speakers from the FCC, federal partners, and industry experts and will raise awareness of emerging cybersecurity risks, share and promote adoption of best practices, and highlight opportunities for public-private partnership on cybersecurity issues facing telecommunications providers.
The broadcast workshop will be held on May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, and the telecommunications carrier workshop will be held on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The workshops, which are free and open to the public, can be attended in-person at the FCC’s headquarters, located at 45 L Street NE, Washington, D.C. 20554, or via livestream.
