Enforcement Bureau Requests Letters of Intent for Registered Traceback Consortium

The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has issued a Public Notice requesting interested consortia to provide Letters of Intent to coordinate efforts to trace back the origin of suspected unlawful robocalls and to invite comment on those Letters of Intent.  The Pallone-Thune Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence (TRACED) Act requires the FCC to establish a process for the registration of a single consortium that conducts private-led efforts to trace back the origin of suspected unlawful robocalls.  Letters of Intent are due May 23, 2025.  Comments on such Letters of Intent are due June 11, 2025 and reply comments are due June 18, 2025.
