The FCC has announced that the seventh Broadband Data Collection filing window for submitting broadband availability and other data opened on July 1, 2025. Under the BDC program, the FCC requires facilities-based broadband providers, mobile voice service providers, and fixed voice service providers to submit data specifying the provider’s coverage area and subscription base as of June 30, 2025. Filers must use the June 2025 update of the Broadband Serviceable Location Fabric to submit the data. The updated version of the Fabric is being made available to existing Fabric licensees.
Providers that have not yet accessed the Fabric may follow the instructions at the BDC Help Center. Additional information about the requirements for filers may be found at the BDC webpage. All availability and subscription data must be submitted no later than September 2, 2025.
