The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau released a Public Notice providing guidance to 2.5 GHz Rural Tribal Window Licensees on meeting final performance requirements as outlined in section 27.14(u) of the FCC’s rules. The Appendix to the Public Notice provides guidance on: (1) how Tribal Window licensees can show that they have met the final performance requirements; (2) the construction notification application required to demonstrate satisfaction of the final performance requirements; (3) filing the construction notice application; (4) and the timeline for the processing of construction notification applications. The Bureau recommends that Tribal Window licensees file a construction notification no later than 15 days after meeting their relevant final performance deadline.
