The FCC released updates to its Rip-and-Replace Reimbursement Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and two filing guides. The updated guide for completing the FCC Form 5640 Part H2: Individual Term Extension Request reminds Program recipients that they may apply for an extension of up to six months only once per application and one at a time. The guide for completing the FCC Form 5640 Part M: Final Certification reminds Program recipients that final certifications must be filed within 10 calendar days following the completion of a recipient’s removal, replacement, and disposal Term. Priority Level 1 recipients are also reminded to remove, replace, and dispose of their covered communications equipment by May 8, 2026.
