The Senate has confirmed Arielle Roth as National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Administrator on a 52-42 vote. As was the case with FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty’s confirmation, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) was the only Democrat to support Roth. Roth now leads NTIA through its restructuring of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program.
