The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (Bureau) is seeking comment on the Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) Fund administrator’s proposed provider compensation formulas, funding requirements, and contribution factors for the period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026 (2025-26 Fund Year). The TRS Fund administrator’s proposals include per-minute compensation formulas of $7.3512 for interstate traditional TRS, $8.4822 for interstate speech-to-speech relay service, and $3.1893 for interstate captioned telephone service. The TRS Fund administrator has also proposed a compensation rate of $2.1970 per minute for Internet Protocol Relay Service. The TRS Fund administrator has proposed a total fund requirement of $1,793,361,015 for the 2025-26 Fund Year. Comments on the proposals are due June 6, 2025. Reply comments are due June 16, 2025.
