The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has released an Enforcement Advisory with the Wireline Competition Bureau reminding recipients in the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program (“Rip-and-Replace Program”) to complete their removal, replacement, and disposal work by their term deadline, to provide the appropriate documentation for reimbursement claims, and to properly dispose of all covered equipment. Importantly, the Bureau also warns Rip-and-Replace Program recipients that further extensions will be subject to intense scrutiny and difficult to obtain.

Priority 1 recipients have a term deadline of May 8, 2026. Additionally, all recipients are reminded of their obligations to file their next status update by March 30, 2026
