The FCC has adopted a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture, that proposes a forfeiture penalty of $1 million against Enhanced Communications Group, LLC, a provider of interstate telecommunications services in Oklahoma, for failing to comply with Universal Service Administrative Company filing deadlines.

In accordance with the requirements of the Universal Service Fund, USAC collects worksheets from service providers to determine the providers’ USF contribution obligations.  The FCC authorizes USAC to conduct audits and require service providers to retain, for at least five years from the date of USF contributions, all records that are required to demonstrate that the USF contributions were made in compliance with the FCC’s universal service rules.

Enhanced Communications failed to timely file requested documentation that supported revenues reported in the company’s Annual Worksheet filings from 2017 to 2022.  Due to the alleged willful violation of FCC’s rules by failing to comply with USAC directives, the FCC proposes a forfeiture penalty of $1 million.
