The FCC seeks comment on the rule modifications adopted in its proceeding In the Matter of Amendment of Part 90 of Commission’s Rules, which required incumbent public safety licensees and public safety applicants in the 4.9 GHz band to submit granular technical data into the Universal Licensing System (ULS). Specifically, the Commission seeks comment on whether the information collection is necessary, whether the burden estimate is accurate and on ways to minimize the burden. Comments should be submitted on or before May 15, 2026 and addressed to Nicole Ongele, FCC, via email PRA@fcc.gov and to nicole.ongele@fcc.gov in accordance with the Notice published in the Federal Register.
