The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) have signed an Interagency Agreement to coordinate distribution of broadband funds for the FCC’s High-Cost Programs, USDA’s Rural Utilities Service, and the programs administered by or coordinated through NTIA.  The Agreement also requires the federal agency partners to consider basing the distribution of funds from the programs on standardized broadband coverage data.  The Agreement is for a minimum of two years from its effective date, or June 25, 2023.
