The FCC has provided additional guidance on filing deadlines after resuming normal operations. All filings that would have been due from October 1, 2025 through November 17, 2025 have been extended to November 18, 2025. Any Special Temporary Authorities (STAs) that would have expired between October 1, 2025 through November 17, 2025 are now extended until at least November 18, 2025. Deadlines related to the Network Outage Reporting System (NORS) and Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS), as well as deadlines related to spectrum auction activities authorized under section 309(j), are not extended.
The FCC will provide more guidance on any further extensions for specific matters, programs, or systems by November 18.
The FCC has also agreed to work in good faith with all parties to resolve any issues with filings and systems as complications arise. Additionally, the FCC has requested that parties limit their filings unless immediate agency action is needed due to the overwhelming number of filings it expects to receive.
