NTIA Announces Two New Tribal Lands Broadband Funding Opportunities

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has announced two new notices of funding opportunity (NOFO) to expand broadband connectivity on Tribal Lands. Approximately $540 million of funding is available through the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program Round 3, which provides funding for broadband use and adoption and broadband infrastructure deployment for Tribal Governments, Tribal Colleges or Universities, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands on behalf of the Native Hawaiian Communities, Tribal organizations, and Alaska Native Corporations. Approximately $250M of funding is also available through the Native Entities Grant Program, which provides funding to advance broadband connectivity within Indian Tribes, Alaska Native entities, and Native Hawaiian organizations. The applications windows for these funding opportunities opened on June 17, 2026, and closes September 17, 2026.
