FCC Proposes Fines of Multiple Companies for Noncompliance with Numbers Database Rules

The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has issued a Notice of Apparent Liability (NAL) proposing forfeitures against 12 phone companies that allegedly failed to submit timely phone number disconnection information to the Reassigned Number Database.  Under the FCC’s rules, phone companies must submit permanent number disconnection information to the Database by the 15th of each month. 

The following phone companies were issued NALs: Swayzee Telephone Company, Inc; Automation Technologies, Inc; Communications Plus, Inc; Integrated Path Communications, LLC; Fort Mojave Telecommunications, Inc.; Palo Cooperative Telephone Association; Point Broadband Fiber Holding, LLC; Local Access LLC; Stratford Mutual Telephone Company; Bendtel, Inc.; Puerto Rico Telephone Company, Inc.; and Salsgiver Telecom, Inc.
