FCC Proposes Rules to Block PSAP Robocalls

The Federal Communications Commission has adopted a forthcoming Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to protect Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) from unwanted automated and autodialed calls, known as robocalls.  The Commission’s proposed rules would require voice service providers to block calls made to 911 centers listed on a PSAP Do-Not-Call registry.
