The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has released a Public Notice seeking comment on the recently published version 1.2 of the Eligible-Areas Map (EA Map) for the Alaska Connect Fund. The new version integrates providers’ feedback regarding their support areas, includes updates to the Broadband Data Collection data sets for Alaska, and has resolved multiple inaccuracies. Providers have until May 22, 2026 to ensure that version 1.2 of the EA Map accurately reflects their support areas or file further corrections.
