The FCC has released seven Enforcement Bureau orders that will remove seven voice service providers from the agency’s Robocall Mitigation Database.  The FCC determined that Akabis, Cloud4, Global UC, Horizon Technology Group, Morse Communications, Sharon Telephone Company, and SW Arkansas Telecommunications and Technology have not complied with key robocall mitigation steps, including implementing STIR/SHAKEN throughout their IP networks.

The FCC has given these voice service providers 14 days to show why the FCC should not remove them from the Robocall Mitigation Database.  A company’s removal from the database would require all intermediate providers and terminating voice service providers to cease accepting the company’s traffic.
