The Federal Communications Commission’s Enforcement Bureau (EB) has issued a Notice of Apparent Liability against Pacific Data Systems, proposing a forfeiture of $100,000 against Pacific Data Systems for failing to file the Telecommunications Reporting Worksheet—Form 499-Q—that was due on February 1, 2022 with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).  The EB explained that the failure to file Form 499-Q “had serious implications for the administration” of Universal Service Fund (USF) contributions and other federal funding mechanisms. The proposed forfeiture was adjusted upward in this case because the company apparently failed to make the required quarterly filings a total of 13 times between August 1, 2019, and February 1, 2022.
