The FCC has issued a Public Notice providing guidance on its newly adopted $200 million COVID-19 Telehealth Program to fund telecommunications, information services, and broadband costs in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The FCC specifically provides more detail on applicant and service eligibility as well as application content and registering with the federal System for Award Management. Additionally, the FCC order adopting the COVID-19 Telehealth Program and Connected Care Pilot Program has been published in the Federal Register. With this publication, the COVID-19 Telehealth Program rules take immediate effect while the Connected Care Pilot Program become effective May 11, 2020.
