The National Telecommunications and Information Administration has released guidance to assist subgrantees in complying with Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program requirements. Specifically, the guidance aims to assist subgrantees in complying with: (1) network capability obligations; (2) broadband deployment requirements; and (3) service obligations. Although the guidance does not modify the BEAD program or impose additional requirements on subgrantees, it does provide clarification on existing BEAD requirements.
