The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (Bureau) announced the conditional approval of two additional Cybersecurity Label Administrators (CLAs) for the FCC’s voluntary cybersecurity labeling program for consumer wireless Internet of Things (IoT) products (U.S. Cyber Trust Mark Program). The Bureau found that the ILA Lab Services, LLC and Element Materials Technology Portland – Evergreen, Inc. meet the Commission’s program criteria and requirements and conditionally approved each to serve as a CLA.
The Bureau announced the opening of a new filing window for applications from entities seeking authority to be recognized as a CLA. This CLAs application filing window is now open and will remain open until the Bureau closes it.
