The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has released a Public Notice seeking comment on a proposal to permit High Altitude Platform Stations and similar services to operate in the 70/80/90 GHz bands while providing broadband internet access to consumers, specifically consumers on airplanes and ships.  This Public Notice follows a June 2020 NPRM that sought to consider options to improve efficiency and expand service offerings in the 70/80/90 GHz bands.
