The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) released a Public Notice seeking comment on the creation of a robocall mitigation scorecard (Scorecard). The Scorecard would provide the public with an assessment of the effectiveness of voice service providers’ efforts to protect consumers from illegal robocalls. The CGB seeks comment on how the FCC can make the Scorecard an effective tool for consumers, including which voice service providers should receive ratings and the types of information that should be included in those ratings. Comments are due September 22, and Reply Comments are due October 2.
