FCC Highlights Consumer Resources

Last week, the FCC launched a campaign to recognize National Consumer Protection Week, which is held annually during the first week of March. In this campaign, the FCC shared its updated consumer guide on unwanted robocalls and texts, highlighted risks of long-con investment scams, raised awareness of romance scams, provided a consumer guide to help kids navigate their first devices, provided a list of the nation’s 3-digit emergency numbers, and announced an initiative to onshore calling centers.
