President Trump nominated Adam Cassady to be the U.S. Department of State’s new ambassador at large for cyberspace and digital policy, tasked with advancing America’s interests related to international cyber security, internet governance, and digital freedom. Cassady was previously Chief of Staff to FCC Commissioner Nathan Simington and currently serves as principal deputy assistant secretary at the NTIA. His nomination must be approved by the United States Senate.
