The FCC’s Incentive Auction Task Force will host two workshops on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the FCC’s Washington, DC headquarters focusing on Incentive Auction technical issues. The first workshop, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., will focus on methods of performing feasibility checks during the repacking phase of the auction and open source software that could be used to perform feasibility checks and share results. The second workshop, scheduled for 1:00 p.m., will focus on the Office of Engineering and Technology’s (OET) proposed methodology for predicting interference between broadcast television and 600 MHz wireless services after repacking. The workshops are open to the public, and those unable to attend in person are instructed to contact the FCC for WebEx login information.
