The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) announced a filing window for Revised Alternative Connect America Cost Model (A-CAM) I and A-CAM II carriers to submit certifications in WC Docket No. 10-90 requesting a downward adjustment to their required location counts and associated support amounts based on the June 2026 Broadband Serviceable Location (BSL) Fabric dataset. The filing window, which is now open, will close Monday, November 30, 2026.  Attachments A and B to the Public Notice provide the number of units associated with BSLs in each carrier’s service area based on the June 2026 Fabric. The Bureau emphasized that this will be the only opportunity for Revised A-CAM I and A-CAM II carriers to seek an adjustment to their obligations based on the Fabric.

When deciding whether to participate in this process, revised A-CAM I and A-CAM II carriers should review the number of units in their service areas based on the June 2026 Fabric and compare the number to the number of units they are required to serve at 25/3 Mbps, 10/1 Mbps (for Revised A-CAM I), and 4/1 Mbps. A-CAM II carriers should also review the number of Tribal units in their service areas based on the June 2026 Fabric and compare that number to the number of Tribal units they are required to service at 25/3 Mbps and 4/1 Mbps.
