WCB Seeks Comment on NECA Proposal to Modify High Cost Loop Support Formula

The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB or Bureau) has asked for comment on the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc.’s (NECA) proposal to modify the average schedule universal service high-cost loop support formula. The proposal, if approved, would take effect on January 1, 2020 and remain effective through December 31, 2020.  Comments are due to be filed on or before September 30, 2019, and reply comments are due to be filed on or before October 15, 2019.
