The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau is seeking comment to refresh the record in its 70/80/90 GHz bands proceeding. In this proceeding, the Commission previously proposed rules to further enable non-Federal uses of the 71-76 GHz, 81-86 GHz, 92-94 GHz, and 94.1-95 GHz bands, which are currently allocated on a co-primary basis for both Federal and non-Federal use. The FCC specifically seeks comment on a National Telecommunications and Information Administration filing on October 17, which proposed technical rules and interference mitigation measures to protect Federal operations in these frequencies and in adjacent bands.  Comments are due November 8
