Effective Tuesday, August 30, 2016, the application fees charged to licensees and permittees by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) will increase to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The Communications Act sets a standard for the FCC to follow when determining the amount of fees to collect.  The FCC is required to review its Schedule of Application Fees every two years, and make adjustments if needed to reflect changes in the CPI. Copies of all fee filing guides for each of the Bureaus/Offices that have feeable services may be obtained online at www.fcc.gov/fees/appfees.html.
