The FCC released a Public Notice reminding Recipients in the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program (Rip and Replace Program) that they must file their next status update on or before June 29, 2026. Recipients are required to provide updates on their work to permanently remove, replace, and dispose of covered equipment and services until all obligations are met and the Final Certification is submitted. Any Recipient who had its May 8, 2026 final deadline extended must also (i) include a timeline and detailed description of actions it has undertaken to resolve the problems identified in their granted extension requests, (ii) confirm the date by which it plans to complete their removal, replacement, and disposal (RRD) work, and (iii) if that expected date extends past the RRD term, explain what additional steps it plans to take to further prioritize and expedite its progress.

Status updates can be submitted through the Rip-and-Replace Program Online Portal by completing FCC Form 5640 Part K: Status Updates.
