The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB or Bureau), in a Public Notice, has announced that it seeks to refresh the record regarding issues remanded to the Commission by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (D.C. Circuit) in its Mozilla Corp. v. FCC decision. The D.C. Circuit, on February 18, 2020, issued its mandate, remanding the following three discrete issues in the Restoring Internet Freedom Order (RIFO) for further consideration by the Commission: public safety, pole attachments, and the Lifeline program. As the Commission reevaluates the impact of the RIFO, the WCB seeks comment on those issues. Comments are due by March 30, 2020 and reply comments by April 29, 2020.
