911 Reliability Certification System Ready to Go

The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau has announced that the on-line system for filing 911 reliability certifications is now available for use.  Under rules adopted in 2013, covered 911 communications providers are required to take reasonable measures to provide reliable service, as evidenced by an annual certification.  The initial certification is due October 15, 2015.  The on-line system can be access at https://apps2.fcc.gov/rcs911/.
