In furtherance of the Trump Administration’s goals to Unleash American Drone Dominance, the FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) and the Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) issued a Public Notice seeking comment on proposals to eliminate regulatory burdens that make drone deployment challenging, enhance spectrum available for drone operations, and encourage investment in American drone companies. Comments on the FCC’s proposals must be filed by May 1, 2026, and reply comments are due May 18, 2026.
