FCC Announces Over $12 Million in ECF Support for Schools and Libraries

The FCC has announced that it is committing more than $12 million in Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) to support for approximately 35,000 students in Arkansas, Connecticut, Illinois, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington. This funding can be used for off-campus learning to ensure that students across the country have the necessary support for their education.  To date, the ECF Program has provided $6.68 billion in funding to approximately 17 million students, 11,000 schools, 1,000 libraries, and 120 consortia, and provided approximately 13 million connected devices and over 8 million broadband connections.
