FCC Seeks New Comment on Multiple Tenant Environments

The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has released a Public Notice seeking new comment on the Commission’s proposals in the FCC’s 2019 Improving Competitive Broadband Access to Multiple Tenant Environments (MTE) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM).  That NPRM addresses competitive access to broadband in apartment and office buildings, MTEs.  The Public Notice primarily seeks comment on revenue sharing agreements between MTE building owners and service providers, exclusive wiring arrangements, and exclusive marketing arrangements.

The Public Notice notes a Comment date of 30 days after Federal Register publication of the NPRM, and a Reply Comment date of 45 days after Federal Register publication.
