FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced that the FCC will vote on an item at its July 22nd Open Commission Meeting to adopt final rules for the upcoming Upper C-Band spectrum auction. The FCC intends to make available 160 MHz of spectrum, auctioning off 3,248 new flexible-use spectrum licenses between 3.98 GHz and 4.14 GHz. Congress required the FCC to auction at least 100 MHz of Upper C-Band spectrum no later than July, 2027.
