President Obama Re-Nominates FCC Commissioner O’Rielly

President Obama has re-nominated Federal Communications Commissioner Michael O’Rielly for another term.  Commissioner O’Rielly was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate in October 2013, and was sworn into office on November 4, 2013.  Commissioners are appointed by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate for five-year terms, except when filling an unexpired term. Commissioner O’Rielly filled former Commissioner Robert McDowell’s seat when he departed the Commission.
