The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) released a Public Notice, reminding Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program (Program) recipients of the following upcoming obligations and deadlines during the final stages of the Reimbursement Program:
- Deadline to complete Removal, Replacement, and Disposal (RRD) of all equipment and services – May 8, 2026
- Deadline to file a Final Certification attesting all RRD work is complete and all terms and conditions of the Program and recipient commitments have been satisfied – May 18, 2026
- Deadline to submit all reimbursement requests – September 5, 2026
- Deadline to file final spending report to address expenditure of all Program funds received – November 4, 2026
After Program recipients file their final spending report, they must submit a request to the Program Fund Administrator to initiate the close-out process.
The Fund Administrator will conduct an on-site visit to the recipient’s location to ensure all Program funds have been used as intended and all equipment and services have been destroyed. Prior to Program close-out, the Fund Administrator will also review recipients’ proof of payment documentation.
