FCC Details Rural Broadband Experiment Application Process

The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau has issued a Public Notice detailing the process that will be used to award up to $100 million in rural broadband experiment support to bring voice and broadband service to high-cost areas.  Some components of the application have yet to be released, but the Public Notice describes in detail the information that will be required.  Applications will be due by 6:00 p.m. EST on October 14, 2014 and must be submitted over the Internet using the FCC’s auction system.
