FCC Seeks Comment on Competition in the Communications Marketplace


The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has requested comment on the state of competition in the communications marketplace to assist in the preparation of its Communications Marketplace Report.  The FCC  publishes a Communications Marketplace Report in the last quarter of even numbered years to evaluate competition in the communications marketplace, including competition to provide voice, video, audio, and data services among telecommunications providers, commercial mobile service providers, broadcast stations, multichannel video programming distributors, satellite communications providers, Internet service providers, and other communications service providers.  The FCC specifically requests data, information on notable trends and developments, and comments from industry stakeholders, the public, and all other interested parties.  Comments are due on July 1, 2022.  Reply Comments are due August 1, 2022
