The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB or Bureau) of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released an Order and Request for Comment adopting a model and parameters for the drive tests required of mobile providers receiving $5 million or more in Alaska Plan support.  The Bureau will use the results to determine whether providers have met their performance commitments.  WTB also seeks comment on requiring new drive-test data if a provider fails to meet a buildout milestone and seeks to cure a compliance gap.
