FCC Plans to Review Agency Rules Adopted from 2007-2012 for Possible Revisions

The FCC has issued a Public Notice stating that it plans to review agency rules adopted from 2007-2012 that may have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities.  The FCC will consider revising or eliminating rules related to forbearance proceedings, spectrum leasing, competitive bidding for universal service support, disruptions to communications, wireless emergency alerts, commercial mobile services, and various other rule sections.  The FCC will seek comment on this rule review.  Comments will be due 60 days after Federal Register publication, which has not yet occurred.
